I’ll admit it–I’m a total geek when it comes to researching and trying out new and innovative tools. I genuinely love to watch technology evolve and get better and better over the years! Whether you are a professional or DIYer, I have some great innovative tools to share with you that would make an awesome addition to your workshop.

There’s nothing worse than having to pull out a ton of extension cords and fill up a tank of gas just to get some yard work done. I personally used to dread yard work because it would take me more time to set up my tools than to actually do the yard work. Because of this, I have had a huge interest in finding the most innovative tools to get work done and I’m happy to report that I have found some amazing tools that allow me to get yard work done in half the time. I came across Ryobi’s battery powered and cordless line of tools that make it super convenient to conquer the yard and I will never look back!

Ryobi has a whole line of tools that uses the same battery (I use the 40V and 18V). It’s one of my favorite things about Ryobi’s tools! With the 40V, there are 25+ different tools that are compatible with the same battery and with the ONE+™ 18V there are over 125 different tools that use the same battery and charger! Some of my favorite 40V and 18V Ryobi tools are:

Ryobi 40V 20in. Brushless Self-Propelled Mower

The brushless motor on this mower is outstanding! The 40V battery gives you maximum power and up to 35 minutes of runtime. It also has a 7 position, single-point height adjustment. The mower includes a 2-in-1 easy lift bag attachment that can also be used for mulching. It is incredibly light weight and so easy to move around with it’s telescoping handles and self-propelled technology. Last but not least, my favorite feature about this mower is its compact vertical storage option.

Ryobi 40V 550 CFM Brushless Jet Fan Blower – Whisper Series

This is the quietest mower in the industry (under 59 dB) but still has tons of power! It delivers 550 CFM’s at 125 mph. It also runs on the same 40V battery as the tools above. Some of our favorite features are the adjustable handle and the turbo button! I have many of these blowers and use them up in the garage, workshop and even use them sometimes to dry our cars off in the driveway instead of using towels. I get many different uses out of this cordless, battery operated blower. 🙂

Ryobi 40V Brushless Attachment Capable String Trimmer

I think that this one is the most versatile in the entire 40V Ryobi line. It has a variable speed trigger and two-speed switch for ultimate cutting control while you’re working around specific items in your yard. Now, what makes this tool so versatile is the fact that it is part of the EXPAND-IT™ series and it has 9 different attachments that are super easy to change out. On the string trimmer attachment, we use the REEL-EASY™ Bump Head with SPEED-WINDER™ for reloads in under 60 seconds!

Ryobi 18V ONE+™ 410 CFM Brushless Jet Fan Blower – Whisper Series

It is the industry’s quietest handheld blower at only 54 dB and is part of the ONE+™ system. This means that this blower works with the same battery and charger as over 125 other ONE+™ 18V battery tools. It has a brushless motor and is very light weight. It also features a turbo button for maximum power and variable speed trigger that allows you to control the output of air.
