PRODUCTS

1. Tando – Beach House Shake

This is one of our favorite products if you are looking for a natural cedar look! It’s called Beach House Shake and it’s an exterior product that provides the look of natural cedar without the upkeep of cedar. It’s under the Tando brand of shake and composite stone products. Traditionally, the only way to get a look like this would be with authentic cedar shakes – but those require ongoing maintenance due to rot, decay, and insect damage. Beach House Shake is great for an overall shake exterior or for use in gables as an accent with mixed exterior materials. It won’t be damaged by weather, humidity, wind, or pests, and it’s easy to install—even by just ONE person! It’s a rigid proprietary “polymer” material (NOT vinyl or siding) and doesn’t absorb moisture. The lightweight panels are attached to a starter strip, inter-lock into place and are then fastened in place. This definitely beats having to install individual cedar shingles. It also comes in a variety of colors that all look like authentic cedar shakes, so your design dreams can easily come true!

2. MoistureShield Meridian Capped Composite Decking

We are so excited to share this next product with you…it’s the Meridian Capped Composite Decking and is a new product by MoistureShield. We are already huge fans of it! You can build your next deck with the beauty of a natural wood look with minimal upkeep. Sounds awesome, right? The TruTexture Surface gives Meridian a natural wood-grain look, with varied patterns and multi-color depth (repeated patterns often look fake). For the two lighter color options, you can also get the CoolDeck Technology which allows your to stay 35% cooler than composites in similar colors even in direct sun. This Composite decking also resists scratches and moisture (even underwater!!). Meridian Mini-Deck Colors include: Shoreside (a golden, sandy blonde); Mariner (a rich dark brown); and Citadel (gray shade). They are available in 12’, 16’ and 20’ length boards and offered in square edge and grooved. This is available in the northeast now, and will be available in other regions this year.

3. Sakrete Fast Setting Concrete

If you’re using MoistureShield decking, your best bet for deck footings is to use Sakrete! This is Pro grade strength and perfect for the footers, decks, fences, slabs, and walkways. This concrete is way faster than typical concrete, so it keeps the job moving. For instance, it only takes 3 days vs. 7 days to build on and it’s ready for traffic in 6 hours instead of 24 hours compared to standard concrete. For deck footers, mix it up easily with water first. It’s ideal for fence and mailbox posts because no mixing is involved—just pour in the hole and add water! It’s as simple as that!

4. Daltile

Daltile is your one stop shop for whole home solutions…floors, walls, countertops, etc.! Daltile is super convenient to limit the number of places you need to look to complete your renovation. They even provide free design resources to help you get your whole look together! We can outfit an entire renovation with any surface that needs tile or countertops. They even have RevoTile™ (A.K.A – the easiest tile to install ever!). RevoTile™ is real porcelain tile in ultra realistic wood, stone, marble, and concrete looks but it installs as a true floating floor and locks together. You can grout it and then walk on it the SAME DAY! This makes tiling a true DIY project now!
